A little life here for awhile,
To bring joy and share a smile,
You did this every single day,
We've missed it since you went away.

You brought such joy into our lives,
Now the pain, it cuts like knives,
Things can never be the same,
Because God, he has called your name.

We never got to watch you grow,
But we will get through because we know,
One day we will be together again,
One day we will get to call your name.
