A Little Leaguer Rained Out Poem by Ray Hansell

A Little Leaguer Rained Out

Rating: 3.0

He sits by the window
Watching the rain fall down
He keeps looking to the sky
Hoping the sun will shine

His baseball glove in his hand
His baseball uniform on since early morning
Today was to be the day
He was to play his first little league game
But his joy was interrupted
By an not forcasted sudden rain

He sits by the window
Watching the rain fall down
He keeps looking to the sky
Trying to find the sun

I like this little poem very much. I can feel the hurt in the little boy's eyes. I feel his pain, and I hope the rain will stop!

Nature changes according to the mood of man. (Shakespeare) , Rains may lovely for others but he is in mood of playing base ball, so it's troublesome for him.
