A Little Joy
A flash of a smile, a sweet hand fluttering
On the morn' today,
Started me on my way,
Full of verve, to an anxious meeting.
An unexpected appreciation
Filled the mind;
The heart's light with laughter,
With easy words, first of its kind.
A charming end of day,
Again, back on my way.
Fine… Oh boy!
At last, a little joy! !
