A Little Guy
he smiles and turns verbal somersaults
not saying what rankles him most
about others who are not his kind
he attributes his faults to them
excessively proud of his achievements
as he looks down on us lesser beings
from a resume of imaginary heights
built on vaporous dreams
he speaks out of context
he is really a little guy

I love the musicality of this work, besides which you accurately describe all the main symptoms of 'small man syndrome'. Nice one.
pompous little men have something to proveand only by putting others down can they feel important
sounds like when he was doing summersaults.. he split in half.. and met his other...iip

A beautiful poem in which a little guy's behaviour is analysed.
'A little guy' it's a really great poem but to write it i doubt that u'd be the little guy the ways u put the words together and describe is amazing
