It's a time for gift-giving to loved ones
and friends.
It's a time for forgiving and making amends,
with past enemies and greeting passersby.
It all began with a light in the sky.

It's a time for sharing the dreams of a better
tomorrow.
It's a time for the elimination of world grief
and sorrow.
It's a time to rejoice in the joy and peace of our
King and to give no reason.
It's a time to celebrate His love and embrace
the season.
It's a time to decorate our hearts with ornaments
of goodwill and a triumphant cry.
It's a time to give praises of peace and
thanksgiving to the Most High.
For it all began with a light in the sky!
