A Lifeless Mass Poem by shakil ahmed

A Lifeless Mass

A Lifeless Mass

I need some dazzling thoughts
To compose my poem
I entered the kingdom of moon
For something new.
With no life,
No water,
No air,
Moon is dead like a whore.
It borrows light for itself
From blazing sun,
Purges the light
And alights the dark world
In fiery black night.
Do something new like moon.
Being a lifeless mass
It radiates us
Inspiring to write poems.
Moon is beautiful
With its borrowed light.
And for time immemorial
It will give us delight and delight.
I am learning to be a moon
When I am dead
My thoughts will shine
In colors green, yellow and red.
