A Life Of Need Poem by Walter C. Edwards

A Life Of Need

Just gazing into your eyes,
carries years of misery,
as the tears flow,
I hear screams desperation,
of how your life should be,
take a petal from this rose,
will that gain you any consolation,
or will it only feed your desolation,
farther more down the road,
to destruction in a life of need.
