A Life Lived And Lost Poem by Amy Louise Kerswell

A Life Lived And Lost

Rating: 5.0

I used to live my life
I was once a happy lass.
Now my life is lost.
Nothing is right.
Everythink is wrong.

My life is lost.
My life is not my own.
Never will be the same again.

My life used to be mine
Now its been taken over
By forces from beyond.
They want to controll me.
They want me gone.

They think im thick
ButI aint I no the truth

You are not the only one. I believe we always keep what we lose. Are you sure you haven't given it away? The novelist Isabel Allende wrote, 'Give, give, give - what is the point of having experience, knowledge, or talent if I don't give it away? ...It is in giving that I connect with others, with the world, and with the divine.'

I really like this poem. At times I felt just like that! But only you could give your life over to the force of beyond. But it you dont your life is still yours. I've learned that, this is why I still have my life.
