A Lesson From Nature Poem by Michael Egan

A Lesson From Nature

Rating: 3.5

They say the female bumblebee
In order to select a mate
Flies higher than the humble he,
Or average male, will contemplate

But yet there's always one strong soul
Determined, drawn unto her musk,
Comes from behind to play that role
And makes her wriggle in the dusk.
