A Knot Poem by Lonnie Hicks

A Knot

Rating: 2.7

She was my lady
not;

She was my friend
not;

I reached out to her,
I reached out to her not not
and she reached out to me
not, not late one night.

she wasn't interested in me
not, not;

My roommate and she
were seeing each other
not not,

My stomach
knots.

Time to move on
not not;

Finishing this poem;
all tied in;
knots.
