A Kiss

a kiss can mean there is hope
and causes you not to mope

a kiss can mean nothing
or absolutly everything

a kiss means so many things
can make you heart skip when the phone rings

a kiss can make you smile
as long as it is worthwhile

a kiss can make your head swim
and make you remember the cute things about him

a kiss can make you weak
make you laugh in your sleep

a kiss can be nothing but lust
or make a dream of nothing but dust

a kiss can bring back priceless memories
and all the history between you and me

a kiss is what makes the rain fall
from my eyes when you called my babydoll

a kiss can remind you of another guy
or make butterflies flutter inside

a kiss can make you cry
when you relize its your last goodbye

a kiss means alot
but right now your kiss is all i got

Poem of the Day

poet Paul Laurence Dunbar

The mist has left the greening plain,
The dew-drops shine like fairy rain,
The coquette rose awakes again
Her lovely self adorning.
