A Hungry Heart Poem by Cindy Wyatt

A Hungry Heart

A Hungry Heart

Dear Lord, my heart is hungry
for fresh manna to come down from heaven
not for the day old bread
that yesterday I've already been given
For I come seeking fresh bread from thy storehouse
and come knocking at your door
praying that you will open to me
and your spirit to me outpour
My heart is longing to see
your great wonders and miracles again
to be filled with your goodness
so that others I may win
Please satisfy my hungry and thirsty soul
with your love and righteousness
that my life could be used of thee
and not be fruitless

Matthew 5: 6 Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.
