A Humane Deed Poem by Joseph T. Renaldi

A Humane Deed

Rating: 5.0

Help those in dire need,
Provide care and instill hope
If they are thrust into poverty,
Help them find the means to cope.

Comfort the lonely and depressed,
Bestow benevolent goodwill to all,
Help raise their spirits when downcast,
If possibly they should trip and fall.

Put your sympathetic thoughts to practice,
Put human and social welfare to the test,
By spreading joy, happiness and charity,
Even to those you may even detest.

Let compassion and sympathy prevail,
Help others to find an estimable way,
Adopt a humanitarian's words of wisdom,
' Perform a humane deed everyday.'
