To wake to the sound of peace
Beautiful
Silent but for the caress of wind on the lake,
Birds singing
Serenity shared for me
No others Grateful am I, for this gift to my dearest heart
I thank thee
Fresh cold and sweet is the air
Tickling
Pines, flowers water and the faint smell, fires smoke
The great North
I could never leave this place
My homeland
Years of passion and strength have been passed on to me Proud and free
