A Hero But Not To Claim Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

A Hero But Not To Claim

You may love the heat of things.
And perhaps you are attracted,
To that which goes out of control...
With visions to believe,
'Someone' will perceive you to be a hero.
But getting too close to smoke can kill.

Especially if your are the kind to allow,
A deep breathing to boast...
A chest to be seen by other folks,
Hoping one brave enough...
Who 'is' a hero but not to claim,
Makes attempts to stop you...
From choking to death on your perceptions.

Aloha Lawrence... Sounds like my kind of acquaintance... do you know this fellow? would be a fine candidate for my squadron... Hoping one brave enough... now this is a request or an observation? or just maybe this type of human exists... not in americant! Say, I know three words... one of which is country... country, country, country... sounds pretty cool... What is your perception of the defination' of this word; and which one defination do you stand by? Now there are two other words, that when melded together and said fast three times sound just like the word country... these words when said fast three times describe the reality of the state of this country... Do you recognize these two words? Yes, you do... Now say them together, out loud, and fast... before the others hear your laughter! nice work this eve... All of the best from this life, to you, and all of your relations... Michaelw1two (read me)
