A Haunting Poem by Annabel Cruz

A Haunting

Rating: 5.0

Past midnight…my eyes refuse to shut
The night is filled with your ghost
Hungry for my thoughts
Its voice echoes
Barely audible
You are
Not done
With
Me

I sigh
Stretch
Toss and turn
Finding no relief
Waiting for the light of day
To take your wanton ghost away
