A Happy Moment

Awake in the morning, a chilled morning;
Cold breeze sneaking through the window,
Things looked gloomy & unpleasing,
A little bird at the window fluttering & chirping,
A sad note in his voice…….singing,
On grass, morning tears not glistening,
The reason, perhaps, is the warmth of Sun, missing,
Clouds forcing the sun to a halt, so depressing,
For, how long will clouds keep the sun hiding in far heaven?
Sensation of illusion growing strong,
That the sun would break through clouds soon,
And hopes & aspirations evanescing,

Dull, dim, & subdued, the sun still not shining,
Twilight faded & the sun gone hiding again,
A day drenched out without warming & now into evening,
Seemed no let up of cute & puffy clouds in evening sky,
A different sky, different shapes of clouds & a different mood,
Slowly &steadily, darkness enveloped the world,
Through clouds, a ray of faint light sighted & that of the moon,
So feebly scattered over the land,
That I looked up the sky, bending earthwards,
To assess the status of the moon & clouds above
Clouds at their play & not allowing moon to bloom,
Clouds in different shapes & sizes delighting all & sundry,

From behind came the query of a stranger,
What are you looking at? Clouds
What is there in clouds? Heaven
And in Heaven dwells God,
And in God dwells the whole universe,
And in universe all the planets, & sun, moon, stars & our divine earth,
And in earth, me & you & other living souls- all are divine,
And here begins the pilgrimage of life divine.
Once, a dormant seed sowed in life’s garden;
Blossoms into a full grown and youthful flowering soul,
Passing through many trials and tribulations of life,
Journey through a track which is always following a light,
Ultimately bringing all of us to the lotus feet of ‘God’, as the place of rest,

And as curiosity overtook him to the land of fancy,
He looked up into the sky and into clouds to see thy Heaven.
Saviour, thou blessings be showered on him from thy Heaven,
For his faith on Him stays lighted by thy sun shining in moon,
And curtain of clouds veiling Heaven be withdrawn,
And thy glorious face be revealed to us through glorious light from thy Heaven,
And as I prayed, came the sweet revelations of bright and beautiful sun shining….!
That was the priceless moment,
Of blissfulness,
I dreamed, cherished and loved.
