A Hamper Of Corrupt Imbeciles Poem by Hebert Logerie

A Hamper Of Corrupt Imbeciles

Rating: 4.3

Countless corrupt imbeciles are running many countries
Impoverished teenagers are making unwanted babies
Peasants are fleeing the countryside seeking opportunities
And our elders are too weak, too frail to cultivate the land.

Predatory charities are like disguised invaders on vacation
Their objective is to cause physical and mental erosion
Of an infrastructure already in dismal. And band of bandits
Are operating like it is business as usual in the region.

Our world is in peril. Nobody is minding the stores
There is no economic system, no policies, and no rules
No accounting, no credible or conceivable internal control
No justice, and the laws on the books are very old.

Corruption like vermines are ubiquitous. This is sad
People are living in the past like zombies. This is bad
No hopeful words can be found in their vernacular
This is hell on holy earth. This is an undeclared war.

People are dying with cholera, STD's and other maladies
They are blaming the western and eastern superpowers
They have no conscience to look through themselves
To diagnose the daily problems, in order to change maneuvers.

A hamper of corrupt imbeciles are running the administration
There is no hope, no future, no solution, and no concession
Children are suffering and dying; adults are complaining and crying
People are in pain, and the perpetrators are laughing and rejoicing.
