A Guiding Star
directionless
i wonder,
what is to become of me,
a insecure dot,
in your vast creation.
i look around and see,
many like me floating,
to catch the end of the rainbow,
for a lift in their life,
willing to change,
but without a guide.
suddenly
you emerged
like a bright star
to take us all,
in a lifes long journey,
of hardship and fear,
giving courage,
to face lifes fall.
you gave solace,
to have a fruitful life
of deliverance,
and kindness and love
for humanity.
we grasped you,
like a marooned,
grasps even a straw,
to save himself,
from the ravages of time..
you made us shed
our bad energy of,
evil and disharmony, ,
and filled our hearts
with love for life.
filled us with your,
eternal being,
getting us closer to
our destination,
and pulling us out,
of the debris ofl life.
Stars have been a source of guidance for us humans for centuries! The Three Wise Men were guided by a bright star to Bethlehem! The ancient Egyptians and the Babylonians read the stars! A good poem! 10! -Raj PS. There is a beautiful song by Perry Como; - ' Cathch a falling starlight put it in your pocket, save it for a rainy day! ' I am writing a poem on Perry soon!
We need to read poems of inspiration like this one, it brings a warm glow to my heart, yes we should all follow our stars and join in the magnificence of the universe, the place where all souls combine.
