A Good Soul Poem by Md. Ziaul Haque

A Good Soul

He was a very good fellow,
Used to be among us,
Even a few days ago,
A man of reverence.

At times we did argue,
About certain matters,
Yet all did know,
Of his manners and ethics.

He was liked by everyone,
He would talk so nicely,
With every person,
He shall be missed by scores of hearts.

May God bestow him rapture,
May his soul rest in peace,
Ever and ever,
May we follow all his goodness.

Even if he is physically absent,
He shall glow like light,
In the myriad others who are present,
Letting him live on, letting him be immortal.
