A Golden Picture Poem by Patricia Gale

A Golden Picture

Rating: 5.0

In the frame beneath the glass a lover’s eyes of crystal blue shine
Pulling her closer to wings of flight
Breathless moments as finger tips softly trace a warm but cold silhouette
Dearest love of her night, the one never to forget
Surrender heart and soul, bow to spirit’s plight
Release the past and believe

Fly me above so very high
Sweet angels of love soar with me I pray
Doubt not that words of love shall hold forever true
Listen closely to thy soul

Love should take flight straight to Heavenly gates of the heart and thought... Love should soar to highest flights of delerious unawareness of the heart uncaught. Love can only carry us to hearted delight.... Love may burn deep within our blinded sight. At last we grasp that elusive feeling of love.... Like as a free bird flown up and all seeing from up high, way above. Free at last, free at last to live a great promised future and not of that of the past.... Love hath amassed, at last-amassed. Love and poems do inspire. Great poem patricia. God bless all poets-MJG.
