A Goal Poem by Cynthia Buhain-baello

A Goal

A Goal is the end point of all efforts
Perhaps the gold at rainbow's end,
It's the reason persistence sets forth
The aim and the prize one commends.

Unless there's a Goal we target to reach
Activity rides a wasted carousel,
There's a frantic confusion round about in which
The turning is busy, yet nothing's done well.
