Just an average teenager
named after her grandmother
living with a mom, dad and brother
arguing with day, one day after the other

A dad that’s strict with me
instigating me to become something crazy
turning me into something im not
as you can see my life’s a huge knot.

A mom who suffered through a year of pain,
took her 2 months to regain
strength and hope and when she almost died,
it was something I couldn’t get over and cope.

A grandmother like no other
without a husband and I, with no grandfather
who suffered for 2 months, one day after another
turned out he had bladder cancer.

A brother with Down syndrome
annoying at times, I may want to kill him
but at the same time I don’t want to
cause he’s the one that helps me through

Life when it gets fearful and hard
He’s the one that helps me discard
All the anger and stupidity,
here lies a complex girl with a hidden story.
