A Girl Whom I Adore Poem by Amitava Sur

A Girl Whom I Adore

Rating: 4.7

I know an amazing girl
Whom I honor and adore.
I regard her, respect her
I love to love her more.

That innocent girl moving out-
From her home to unknown
A girl having no idea
About the thorns laid down around

She moved out with her tiny wings
From home to the open world,
Very helplessly lost her youth
To a devilish savage demon.

She lives now a normal life
Apparently seems to,
Burying all her dreams within
She is camouflaging every now.

I don't want her to moan further
She should not feel forlorn.
My heart cries for her
Cannot digest her pains.

I like to see her with a smiling face again
Peace prevail on her besides any pain.
I love her and adore her
With my heart and my soul.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
This is a true story about an innocent girl who became the prey of a cruel demon when she tried to establish herself and to lead a peaceful healthy life on her own feet after struggling a lot in her childhood. And now she pretends to lead a normal life, with her children even, burying all her dreams within, bearing all the pains
quietly within herself and knowing that fact my heart always cries for her for sustaining those pains.

Amitava, a beautiful, heart rending rendition of someone who has tried to live her life against all odds. What a tribute to this innocent girl, you have given in this poem. Your heart shines from within your words, what a kind and compassionate man you truly are. I love this poem.

Amitava......You could step into her shoes and feel for her....! Around us, there are many such who camouflage their pain and live on! Very sincere expression of feelings!

This beautiful poem gives an account of what a golden heart you have! You are treasured with a kind and compassionate heart that cries with the sad plight of an innocent girl having to bear a lifelong scar, camouflaging it under a pseudo smile. Let her move on! What has happened to her, cannot be undone. If she gets love, respect and adoration from people like you on her way, she might feel relieved and reassured.

A very impressive and sad poem, we can only condemn such demons and for the innocent girl our love and sympathy.

so deep thought... a lady tries to face the evil world but gets nothing instead of troubles.... hats of to that lady who hides her pain and lives normally... trying to be strong... she's actually brave. she knows that no one is beside her and she does all by herself... lovely that you could understand her pain...
