I met a girl the other day from a land quite far away
Unknown to me are her convictions
to live your life by religious traditions
day by day I grow to learn more
and I see that her heart is kind and pure
maybe mere fate led to this day
or maybe your an angel god sent my way
I met a girl about a week ago from a country named Palestine
her name means to speak the truth by the divine
she lives by her Muslim tradition
Prayer by prayer with faithful repetition
she has shown me her light so kind and pure
