A friend like you

I know it hasn't been said
That I love you too
Yet I am so lucky
To have a friend like you

One who holds me up
And makes me smile
When I am so down
Down there a mile

When I'm crying tears
And I'm feeling so blue
You let me know
That I mean something to you

When my world is dark
And full of pain
You make me feel
Important again

When I'm standing here
Feeling all alone
You let me know
That I'm one of your own

Thank you my friend
For always being there
and letting me know
You really do care
