This much is true
Best friends we were
Me and you
Best friends I thought
Best friends forever
But forever is long
And forever is nearly never
Things happened
Things came up
Oh my dear friend
Enough is enough
It’s time we both
Open our eyes
We are older now
We can’t deny
That best friends
You and I
Are only best friends
Under a red sky
