I'm sitting in my bed
With million thoughts running in my head
Memories of stages that are bitter and sweet pass me by
As i stay still as if I have to hide

I strolled deeper down memory lane
As i strolled I relived every pain
A memory of you came along the way
I froze like ice as everything turned into grey

I felt the guilt rising
The guilt of letting you stray was surprising
I still remember you more than ever
How we used to say, friends forever

The sound of your laugh is carved in my brain
I also imagined you old walking with a cane
I remember how presence lit up the room
Just like a flower everyday you bloom

As a tear swam down my face
I've realized that me, you must hate
On my nightstand a picture of you and me
I remembered how everything we wanted to see

I remember how we used to talk all night
And get over every single fight
I miss the light in my life
That shined upon me when I am in strife

The next thing I know I’m at your door
Crying like a child of four
I looked at you with sorry eyes
Sorry for believing all the lies

The warmth of your soul
Makes me survive in the North Pole
When i need you your always there
About you i will always care

Like old times we are back
With everything but nothing to lack
Dancing is what you love to do
Goofing around with me and you

You haven't changed, you’re still the same
You still think your living a life of fame
I'd walk through the thickest sands
Just to lend you a simple hand
I'd swim in the deepest seas
Just to see you smile, that i can guarantee

You know who you are and you don't deny
You never settle for low when you can reach high
You love to talk and talk with everyone
You never seem to be done

Honest is what you like to be
In everything you admire its beauty
I can imagine you years from now
You on stage taking a bow

And as your eyes sparkle with tears
You whisper 'thank you' with a voice I barely hear
You know how much I love you
With all my heart, yes that's true
