A friend takes you in
doesn't matter about your sin
a friend always cares
no matter your graces or your airs
a friend is always there you see
to be a guide, to assist unconditionally

that is my idea of a friend
a helping hand that will help til the end
forgiving and caring, generous and kind
to help you heal physically
and to help you heal your mind
friends like this aren't easy to find
but when you find one hold on tight
they may help you to attain
anything including spiritual flight
