Time running out as the morning comes
I know soon I will have to let you go
you asked if I could do this?
Yes, it was the only way I could be with you,
To finally see you in front of me,
Feel your touch on my skin,
Your kiss on my lips,
Hear your voice in my ear.
Feel your breath as you speak.
Our bodies so close
almost becoming one.
Now I will accept the consequences.
I will say goodbye as the morning sun shines.
Goodbye to the one I have longed to be with
The one I shared an untouchable love
You gave me the night I desired
Now the day takes away what I had longed for
