A Fly-Venus Trap In The Silence Of The Day And Night

He waited for dusk to set in
And did all in the presence of none but him and the victim
The same thing happened again and again
He hid the weapon in the back of the room,
Sometimes taking it out in the dead of the night
In the presence of none but him and the shield of darkness
Use it, to take a precious life in the presence of none but him and the victim

The news erupts like shrubs, announcing nothing complete
But one side of cry and dripping blood
The community laments the loss and shake with fear of the shadow
He cried with the community
And grinned satisfactorily showing visible white teeth in the silence of darkness
And in the silence of the day in solitary confinement

He smiles once when he’s about to snuff out an innocent life
Horrified cadaverous face of the victim saw him in the spiteful moment
And knew the last saw is the truth but the whole truth taken to heaven
All the time his shadow in tow, dominating the psych of the community
Causing disquiet, the police chasing the shadow with no hope’s end

He believed while his shadow is being chased,
He’ll be out of sight to the present
For his shadow is a sign of past danger
Real danger like the beautiful poisonous serene rose
Forever innocent in the devour of vulnerable souls
A fly-venus trap in the silence of the day and night
Victims’ end always near and far
Trail of cry, trail of trace heightened
Alas! ’ the knock of the police, a rasp but sharp cold stab in the heart
The mind reeling, consciousness in slumber land by the sight of cul de sac
In a stupor, he became a road marker by the force of law’s hand
Counting all the milestones, all the way back without missing a single one
Suddenly his view darkened,25 apparitions smiling over him
Teeth shining like his in times of glee, mocking the community cry in darkness
