A Flower To Auroville Mother-91 Poem by Indira Renganathan

A Flower To Auroville Mother-91

Butterfly bush(Summer lilac,
Buddleja davidii)

You were then a stranger
Just charming attractive
By the hillside farther
When I passed adventive

Was it your purplish blue
Was it your convened make
Was it butterflies accrue
Was it your scented shake

I'd say them together all
Bushy with elliptic leaves
slender stalks grown tall
In awe hurrayed 'who's this? '
