A Flower Tale Poem by kara towe

A Flower Tale

A woman dances with Freesia and daisies in her hair.
She is innocent, young and fair.
Her name is Jasmine and she dances in a field of Larkspur.
Many men fall in love with her.
One man stands before her with a bouquet of Bachelor Buttons, another, Hyacinths.
She continues to dance with grace and elegance.
Another man stands holding a passion flower and yet another with a pansy.
She continues to dance freely.
One day a man stands before her with a bouquet of Lilac but he leaves and never comes back.
Time passes and she no longer dances.
She waits in a field of white Carnations holding a handful of Heather.
She waits for true love through all kinds of weather.
Then a man comes with Hydrangea, one misty morn, and tells her to wait no more.
He has loved her from the first day he saw her dancing in a field of Larkspur.
She takes his hand in marriage and they live in a cottage surrounded by beds of roses red.
