A Few Things Poem by Besma Jemaa

A Few Things

A few things frighten me
Love, death and supremacy

I fear after loving my supremacy to die,
Thousands of questions and wonders then rise
What to do with all this success almost to fall?
Where will this fortune and glory go all?

How will that 'me' be?
Which state of being there will be?
Will I restore the love I shared with my fraternity
Can I keep a constant eye on my state of being?

For me it's all frightening
Darkness and all the questioning.
