A Feeling In Your Eyes Poem by Joshua Francis Belicano

A Feeling In Your Eyes

Rating: 4.5

A Feeling in Your Eyes

Your eyes shined the last time I saw them,
Happiness used to be in that gem.
But now, I know not what they're showing,
Is it melancholy or warning?

A warning to stay away from you,
Am I that bad and not meant for you?
Now, I'm getting mad seeing your eyes,
They seem to show that they're full of lies!

'Who are you? ' that's what I'm confused with,
This question makes me sick! I can't breathe.
Everytime I gaze at the sunrise,
It tells me a feeling in your eyes.

It's the feeling that we're out of goodbyes.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
I'm referring again to my past girl bestfriend. I don't know her anymore, she's change...yet I don't know if I would still love her. Why can't I see the past her in the present. I love the past her than now.

You're right here, eyes don't lie. I like the articulation of the poem and the conviction of the poet. You're very young and your train of thoughts is very mature. Thanks for sharing and remain blessed. Please read my poem MZANSI AND THE BALLOT BOX.
