A Fantastic Trip Poem by Sandra Feldman

A Fantastic Trip

Rating: 0.5

You and I,
We live to write,
And breath and hug the Sea,
We hear Its sound,
Its movement, found,
Night after night,
Hypnotic mystery.

Oh, to be Free,
And sail the night,
In our ship,
'The Fantasy',
And there remain,
Never return,
To cruel reality

Its very tempting, even for myself to get wrapped up in fantasies. They are so much more exciting. Its a whole other life of our making that we can shift and change at will. Love fantasies. But reality is the devil that calls us home. Love you poems Sandra.

Yes fantasy is soft and enjoyable, but to remain there is not really realistic. Really good reading.thanks.

I'm a guy and I fix stuff Why don't we put all the cruel reality on a big boat and give the sail a puff? Fanta-sea flavor rough? Fantasy Land or Fanta-sea? Both are fine with me. Another lovely write!

Beautiful poem Sandra. It's a fantastic trip, on the ship The Fantasy, where you travel into the sea with hypnotic mystery...but never to return to the cruelty...Our thoughts travel too far and come back to where we stand. Short and beautiful Poem. Loved reading it.
