A Dream Of You
I dreamt of you last night
i held you in my arms so tight
not once did your face fade
not until love we made
we laid upon the bed bare
for once we didnt have a care
then realisation of heartfelt pain
when i woke up alone again
the time for us to be together
is when i close my eyes forever
for days and months have gone
yet i wake to another dawn
i take a walk down the road
the cemetery is now your humble abode
take care my love
ill see you soon
I like the style on this one, again I am impressed with your work!
I like your use of rhyme here, It works with your other words, instead of just a random word at the end that rhymes. Interesting topic.
very beautiful. very heartfelt pain after losing the one you love. brave is the one left here after the one they love is gone.
