A Dream-Finding Who You Truly Are Poem by Nirmal Kumar Thapa

A Dream-Finding Who You Truly Are

Gnothi Seauton- Know Thyself
On last night's dream
Above the entrance of my third eye
These words were dancing until end of night, that I borrowed them,
Words were honestly inscribed,
Top of the entrance of a temple of Apollo at Delphi;
Site of the sacred Oracle,
Every visitor scrutinize those words,
As they entered inside the magnificent building;
Are those words been realized, what they intended?
Towards a deeper truth than anything,
Slightly my knowing being;
Vanished at mid of the night
Indicating the third-eye, to the cosmic-world,
Where few masters were busy with their own disciples;
But I'm quite far may not have intended, that how great a revelation;
Or How truthful the information is, I received;
It would ultimately prove to be of no avail,
Not going to save me from further unhappiness;
And self-created sufferings, I'm being STOPPED, at that moment
While I sense a knock of someone, with my 3rd eye regularly
In that very moment I knew,
I may botched to unearth the truth,
Where my cosmic eye thuds me;
Suddenly I'm back to my being,
And enter the empire of Apollo;
Where my dear words leave behind"Gnothi Seauton"
Know Thyself
The most fundamental query of my existence: Who am I?
