A Disappearing God Poem by Samlayy Broussard

A Disappearing God

Breathe, Im Living A Lie.
My Life Started To Die.
The People Are Pain In Your Eyes....
Cant You Feel The Breath On Your Neck?
The Twisted Screams Of Life Ring In Your Ears.
God You Are My Savior Alteast You Say.
But Slowly You Are Going Away.
Flying Farther Away, Making The earth No Longer Pray.
Everyone Believes In Something.
But Since Your Gone You Are Nothing.
Goodbye Man Of Morning Or Goodbye Woman Of Dusk.
You Cannot Believe You have Done This To Us.
Screams Of Sorrow We Pray. (Just One More Day)
You Cannot Lay Awake With Death in Your Head,
For You Are The God who is Dead.
