Thank you for the heaven's gold
That shines upon our days
The silver moons and yellow suns
That warm us with their rays

Thank you for the changing times
And seasons, one and all
A golden harvest, sun-filled walk
A simple bat and ball

Thank you for the gift of love
The power of inner strength
The courage to face each passing day
No matter what its length

Thank you for the children
For the innocence of life
For hopeful smiles that see us through
The days we're filled with strife

Thank you for our friendships
And our families, all so dear
For optimism, joy and peace
The power to conquer fear

Thank you for the unity
America embraces
The love, respect, endurance
Spread among our precious races

And thank you for Thanksgiving
This our day to now join hands
To treasure what this world provides
And all for which it stands
