A Day At The Beach Poem by McKenzie Mickey

A Day At The Beach

the sand so warm,
little pieces of sand
all around.
You can bury your feet,
or your friend

Small waves break upon the shore,
adding to the cries of the seagulls.
With your feet in the water,
its so warm.

The air is nice and warm,
it keeps you cool.
It carries the sound of families playing

You sigh,
its so peaceful, so calm and cool.
You wish you could stay forever,
but you have to go now.

You sigh again,

its just a day at the beach
