When I was just a simple boy
I simply had no clue
Of how to get a girlfriend
Or with her what to do

But after watching tv
That set me on the path
I'll use my sense of humour
Cos women love to laugh

So I walked right up to julie
And told my fav'rite joke
But julie duely left me
She likes the older bloke

Unperturbed I plodded on
I met a girl called Steph
But that one didn't last at all
As I found out Steph's deaf.

It was on a dating website
Where Marion caught my eye
But Marion likes the ladies
She won't be marryin' no guy!

I've even tried speed dating
Where I ended up with Brigitte
But our tastes were really poles apart
Impossible to bridge it.

Tonight I'm on a blind date
A local girl, that's handy
All I know about her is,
Her name, and that is Randi.
