A Dark And Twisted Tune Poem by Victoria Robbins

A Dark And Twisted Tune

My head and heart are
Filled with hatred and anger
What it's this organ that is
Playing a dark and twisted tune
Pumping black smoke through my veins?
What is this I'm feeling,
Loathing and cruelty and the
Need to express somehow
The aggression, violence, fury
Coursing through me,
Poison in my bloodstream
Flooding me with the urge
To crush all who oppose me, fueled by
My murderous impulses and also
Horror as I look at myself
What is this monster that
Stares back at me?
Ugliness is only beauty, singing along to
A dark and twisted tune
