A Curiosity Poem by John Weber

A Curiosity

within this shell
I voyage alone
to finally experience
thought with clarity.

Such soliloquies
fill me with vigor
secure in knowing
I belong apart.

Blessed silence
radiates like a promise
assuring somber peace
outside all spheres

in lone orbit
beholden to nil
without agendas
tipping my pitch.

Your bombardment
of murky disdain
shall hinder me
nevermore.
