It hurt
To know that he was hurting
But I do not think he would even have a second thought if he knew that I was hurting

I'd watch him as he'd go down the hall
Wishing that we could walk together, side by side
And I hope he wishes the same as I walk, knowing he walks behind me

It broke my heart
When he told me who his crush is
But I beared through
ANd pushed away any thought or feelings I had that could ruin our friendship
