A Cosmic Kiss Poem by Dilantha Gunawardana

Your sprightly auburn locks
Gliding to and fro
In the nascent wind

Your slithering rouge
Your softly camouflaged passion
Owning every modicum
Of your ever-thawing lips

Your peacock blue eyes
That cavort in a mating dance
Merging with the celestial arras
In her truest azure tone

Your celestial visage
That resurrects my latent affection
As tears of joy are wrenched
From the succulence
Of my tear ducts

My angel
Your face is my obsession
The only sanctuary
A pair of lips yearn
To surrender to a moment
That freezes
All earthly sensations

Except
Your taste

A kiss as I may say that is out of this
world. Makes you see stars instead.
A lovely passionate write. (Report) Reply
