A Collection Of Winter Haikus Poem by Ell Ell

A Collection Of Winter Haikus

Rating: 5.0

December flowers -
even the roses
are covered in snow

The eye of the moon -
flickering in the dawn
blinks

Quiet, the bluebird whistles
some remnants of a prayer.
I weep

Sitting at my desk -
only the moonlight
can see this sorrow

Walking under stars -
no place to go
but up

Withered, these
skeleton limbs
carry the fire

Snowdrops ponder -
my ink freezes
a winter haiku
