A Class To Remember Poem by Victor Cruickshank

A Class To Remember

Oh Great were the days when we sat to converse
Great were the times when we sang verse by verse
Great were the moments we shared in the sun
And even those times when we had fun
Great are the memories of you and I
And all our friends and that good guy
And in that school, that old Trenton High
Where we all strived to get by
Where we were many but had one goal
And those were the days where we strived for our goal
A new, safe and better place to call school
And our dreams and goal and mission
Brought about a new Trenton High made out of tradition
Where our students will have more ambition
Where we hope to achieve a common vision
It will be known in our history
That the class of 2014 owns the story
Which class graduated there last?
Our class was outspoken and smart
The class of 2014 is our name
And a new school building will bring us fame
For it will forever be known
That the action for change was our own.
