The woman thinks of lovely things
from a time so very long gone by,
She thinks of him
and him with her
and how they
showed each other
just how much they cared.

It was a gift from Him on High
these two having a chance to meet;
company and laughter shared
and times that were honey sweet.
They had to part and sad they were
but Life had called them to leave
The woman thinks of lovely things
but from time to time she grieves.
