A Certain Way Poem by Face Butter

A Certain Way

Rating: 5.0

In a certain way you love me
Taking a walk in the park of my emotions
Strolling through this trimmed fortress
Tucked inside throbbing lips
The ones that have you stuttering
Drooling, tripping
Have you coming back for more
In a certain way
You inhale with drugging kisses
Smothering words only this fortress understands
But in this certain way you play with my heartstrings
Don’t know why I like it
Even when I feel this pain you leave behind
Attacks my body inexplicably
And I let you get away with it
Because in a certain way
I know you love me
And in a certain way
The fire still burns fingertips
